2011 Conference Lanai Announcement
Compcare Services' DVIR Update
NEWS BULLETIN
JUNE
25, 2010
All Compcare Services clients:
As many of you gear up for the DVIR agenda effective July 1st, 2010, you may be
wondering how Visual Intermodal can assist with such a task of reporting?
Compcare Services is proud to announce that your dispatching system will
automatically send the required 322 EDI events to the appropriate reporting
services; i.e, Chassis.com, Emodal, etc...
Compcare will integrate your "Termination" status as the trigger to send the
appropriate statuses based upon the DVIR selection pertaining to the chassis.
This will save your company considerable time in not having to separately log
onto the outside sites and make such entries, which will be mandatory according
to the IANA agreements.
Compcare Services does NOT intend to charge for this service. We realize the
burden, once again, has fallen upon our clients, the Trucking Community. We
appreciate your business and want to show our gratitude. If, however, we find a
great deal of support and customization is required, we will revisit the fees
at a later date.
The priority of the installations will be based upon how long your company has
been a Compcare Services client. We see no other way to meet the demand in the
upcoming weeks to not only update, but to ensure that the appropriate level of
support is maintained to make this as painless as possible. We will contact you
in the coming days to schedule the implementation.
Harbor Truckers for a Clean and Sustainable Future
is a grassroots organization addressing the Clean Air Action Plan (CAAP) at the
Long Beach/Los Angeles Ports. Implications of this legislation could have far
reaching consequences to Intermodal Draymen who service U.S. ports across the
country. Compcare Services has donated our resources to provide the website
that will serve as an interactive informational tool. Click the link to find
